St Albans 2018 Half Marathon

Welcome to Harpenden Mencap

Harpenden Mencap has been providing services to people with a learning disability since 1959.  It is a local independent charity that is affiliated to Royal Mencap; however, we are a self-funding organisation.

The organisation provides services to people with a learning disability within the Harpenden and local district.

We have three residential homes providing long-term care to 13 people, and we provide support to 14 people living more independently.

We run a charity shop where we support people learning new employment skills, and any monies raised go back into funding this facility as well as leisure opportunities.
