Events and Volunteering
One of the most effective ways we raise funds is through holding events such as quizzes, coffee mornings, concerts
etc. In order to do this effectively we urgently need new ideas and people to help us organize things.
Fundraising is vital to our existence. Our charity shop in Southdown is paramount to our fundraising efforts
and we are looking to expand our team of volunteers working in the shop. Volunteers will assist our shop managers with all
aspects of maintaining a thriving community charity shop. Duties will involve receiving and sorting donations, promoting
Gift Aid, general housekeeping, displaying stock and serving our customers.
Volunteering for Harpenden Mencap
